The legendary DOD Overdrive Preamp 250 (OD250) in its classic gray box is a ‘70s analog treasure, famous for delivering lively, raw tones that defined rock and blues. Perfect for everything from gentle boosts to gritty crunch. With just Gain and Level knobs, dialing in your sound is a breeze, and it cleans up nicely when you roll back your guitar’s volume. The Overdrive Preamp 250, along with the TS-9 and OD-1, was a pioneering model in the early days of compact overdrive pedals. Some may consider it the ideal booster for a Marshall amp. It gained attention when a Scandinavian guitarist representing neoclassical metal used one of these gray models.
