OVERVIEW

Why settle for one overdrive when you can have three?

Way Huge devotees rejoice! The legendary Camel Toe Triple Overdrive is back to expectorate its wonderfully wild, gritty tones all over your guitar signal. The Mark II herds the Green Rhino Overdrive and the Red Llama Overdrive together into a single rowdy stable of a stompbox.

The Green Rhino section has all the controls of its Mark IV iteration, while the Red Llama section gets an all-new Hi-Cut control to go with Volume and Drive. Use the Drive Selector footswitch to toggle between the two circuits, or flip the Series switch for a whole ’nother sound sound: the Green Rhino OD and the Red Llama OD combined in series. In Series mode, the Drive Selector Switch toggles the Red Llama ID on/off while the Green Rhino OD is always active. The Camel Toe Triple Overdrive MkII is an untamed beast! Handle with caution.

Comments about Way Huge Electronics WHE209 Camel Toe Triple Overdrive MKII:

Great sounding double drive. My favorite is to stack them, but you have to get the drive ratios right and cut the highs or it feeds back like crazy. I found no matter where one drive knob is there is a sweet spot with the other where it will just start to feed back a tiny bit with the strings muted. Experimenting with this you can get smoother or more aggressive sound without feedingback, depending on which drive is the "hotter" one. But the feedback can also be a good thing depending on what you are going for. This also is balanced against what you do with the eq options you have. You can color just a little, like a boost, or get pretty aggressive OD. There is a ton of tweakability, just keep in mind what you are feeding from one gain stage into the next. Also, when you stack, the tone is very different vs using either side alone. It doesn't just changr the gain characteristics. You simply will have to selectively dial some things out to keep things under control when stacked. You can keep a nice single drive dialed in and push it just a bit with the other stacked in front, but dialed down. Or you can have insane gainy feedback on a foot switch if you want. Not what I'd typically do, but who needs rules right?

It's a really nice sounding and versatile pedal, but I would never have a pedal with a name like that on my pedalboards.
