Fodera Guitars Emperor 4 Standard Bass Walnut

The Emperor 4 Standard Bass from Fodera has a design that blends aesthetics, tone, playability and reliability that players have come to expect. The Emperor 4 Standard was created using a combination of tone-woods along with a hand-selected alder body. These are matched with a 3-piece quarter-sawn hard rock maple neck with a Pau Ferro fingerboard that delivers warm, tight lows, transparent mids and just enough top-end to make a balanced tone. The Emperor 4 also offers a 24-fret PLEK’d compound-radius fingerboard providing a powerful sustain and resonance for players.

The Emperor 4 Standard features a set of Fodera/Duncan Dual-Coil pickups and the Fodera/Pope 3-Band Standard Preamp. Designed in collaboration with Seymour Duncan, the passive Dual Coil pickups were built to provide players with a punchy and focused tone ground by a natural and smooth upper midrange. This results in a tone that's warmer and more organic. These pickups also offer a noise-free, single-coil sound providing the snap, warmth and mid-range punch. Designed for optimal performance, the 3-Band Fodera/Pope Preamp offers an incredibly low noise flow, a musical sounding EQ and active/passive operation for maximum reliability and flexibility. Together, these electronics let players tailor their tone, from deep and round to bright and punchy and everything in between.
