Strandberg Boden Standard 4 Multi-Scale Electric Bass Guitar - Black Metallic

The .strandberg* Boden Standard 4 electric bass guitar gives modern bassists a lightweight, ergonomic instrument with deep low-end authority, multi-scale tension and active Fishman tonal flexibility. A solid basswood Boden body with flamed maple veneer, roasted maple EndurNeck, 33"-34.5" scale configuration and Fishman Fluence Bass pickups create a focused, responsive platform for stage, studio and extended practice. The headless design, EGS Rev2 hardware and included .strandberg* standard bass gig bag make it a forward-thinking 4-string built for players who want power without unnecessary weight.

Lightweight Boden Body With Modern Bass Balance

The solid basswood body keeps the Boden Standard 4 resonant and comfortable, while the flamed maple veneer adds a refined visual layer across the available Black Metallic and Blue Aura Metallic finishes. The compact headless Boden shape helps reduce neck dive and keeps the instrument balanced across long sets. For bassists moving between standing performances, seated sessions and studio work, the body design supports control without fighting the instrument.

Multi-Scale EndurNeck for Comfortable Reach

A 33"-34.5" multi-scale layout balances string tension across the 4-string range, giving the lower strings more authority while keeping the upper register comfortable. The roasted maple EndurNeck uses walnut and carbon fiber reinforcement for stability, while the 20" radius roasted maple fingerboard, 24 stainless steel frets and neutral 7th fret support clean movement across the neck. Original Luminlay green inlays and side dots with black piping improve visibility on darker stages.

Fishman Fluence Bass Electronics With Active Control

Fishman Fluence Bass 4 pickups give the Boden Standard 4 an active HH voice with string-to-string clarity and a wide tonal range. The control set includes master volume with push/pull coil-split, pickup balance, bass/treble stack and a 3-way voice selector, letting players move from focused modern attack to broader full-range tones and single-coil-style textures. The onboard Fishman Fluence 2-band 3-knob preamp puts useful EQ control directly under the player's hand.

EGS Rev2 Hardware for Headless Stability

The EGS Rev2 4-string bass bridge and individual bass string locks provide the tuning stability, intonation control and clean headless functionality that define the .strandberg* bass platform. Black anodized hardware and knurled aluminum controls reinforce the instrument's modern look, while the 2.24" bridge string spacing gives the right hand a familiar, controlled feel.

A Featherweight 4-String With Serious Range

The Boden Standard 4 is made for bassists who want an ergonomic 4-string that can cover modern rock, fusion, gospel, pop, progressive music and studio work without feeling heavy or limiting. With its focused basswood body, multi-scale EndurNeck and flexible Fishman Fluence electronics, the .strandberg* Boden Standard 4 electric bass guitar delivers a compact, stage-ready platform with stadium-sized tone.
