Overview
Release Date:10/28/2016;Notes:Limited vinyl LP pressing. In celebration of it's 25th anniversary, the groundbreaking 1991 debut album from funk-metal supergroup Infectious Grooves comes to vinyl for the first time in the U.S. Fully remastered for the format and limited to 1000 copies worldwide The Plague That Makes Your Booty Move is pressed here on stunning glow-in-the-dark vinyl. Playing a staggering mix of funk, traditional metal and skatepunk thrash, Infectious Grooves was led by Suicidal Tendencies frontman Mike Muir and also featured former Excel guitarist Adam Siegel, ex-Suicidal Tendencies bassist Robert Trujillo (now in Metallica), and Jane's Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins. Though Muir's sense of humor was often obvious with Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves brought out an even goofier and non-political side which services the music wonderfully. And if this line-up doesn't knock you out, Ozzie Osbourne even makes a guest appearance on the track "Therapy."
