This DVD is well made, however it wasn't what I expected it to be. I was thinking it covered a broad range of technique and material, but I was sorely dissapointed. The riffs were done well, but they really aren't that difficult to play in the first place. During one of the riffs he does some "Master of Puppets", but that is about as exciting as it gets. The saving value of this DVD is the fact that he throws in some stuff from Garage Inc. which spices things up a bit (Blitzkrieg, Whiskey in the Jar). The play along feature is nice, but not very usefull. Each riff is a chapter on the disc, so it makes playback somewhat convenient. The scrolling tablature is cool, and it can be very beneficial.Equipment description is done well, and so is the technique if you are going for the "Load & ReLoad" sound. I was expecting more in depth explanations of the fingering, speeds and sliding, but was left hanging. I guess it was because I was expecting stuff from "...And Justice for All" and "Ride the Lightning" which is substantially more difficult to play! After I realized it was all Load and ReLoad I got excited because I thought he would play Low Man's Lyric, but it never came.
Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money on this piece of crap. Very little information, no explanations, little short pieces of songs lasting about 5 seconds each, No section on chords and scales like advertised. I will never order another MVP video ever again!
