Chord dexterity and ear training are developed with focused keyboard exercises. Accompaniment improvising is developed from standard chord symbols using root position and inversions. Ear training opportunities are provided by attentive listening to the sounds of various marjor, minor, augmented and diminished triads and 7th chords.
