Specs

Heavyweight Series Trumpet Mouthpiece - Specifications:

6A4a HVY: 15.99 mm, .630" cup diameter; 27 throat. Heavyweight profile. A shallow A cup with cushion number 4 rim for extreme high register work.
13A4a HVY: 16.76 mm, .660" cup diameter; 27 throat. Heavyweight profile. The shallow A cup, semi-flat number 4 rim and tight a-backbore creates an ideal lead mouthpiece.
13 HVY: 16.89 mm, .665" cup diameter; 26 throat. Heavyweight profile. Ideal choice for a student or developing player with standard number 3 rim contour. Rounder rim provides increased flexibility and quick response. C cup offers volume for tone.
14A4a HVY: 17.09 mm, .673" cup diameter; 27 throat. Heavyweight profile. One of our most popular mouthpieces, the 14A4a offers a shallow A cup, semi-flat number 4 rim and tight a-backbore allows a player a strong upper register without sacrificing tonal production.
14 HVY: 17.02 mm, .670" cup diameter; 26 throat. Heavyweight profile. With a standard rim, cup and backbore, the model 14 is an excellent choice for all around playing.
15A4a HVY: 17.14 mm, .675" cup diameter; 27 throat. Heavyweight profile. A larger diameter mouthpiece with a shallow A cup and tight a-backbore for upper register playing. Number 4 semi-flat rim offers comfort in upper register.
15 HVY: 17.12 mm, .674" cup diameter; 26 throat. Heavyweight profile. An excellent all-around mouthpiece which offers a free-blowing, clear sound.
16C4 HVY: 17.20 mm, .677" cup diameter; 26 throat. Heavyweight profile. Similar to the model 16 in dimensions, this mouthpiece offers a number 4 semi-flat rim for a more traditional feel and increased endurance.
17 HVY: 17.33 mm, .682" cup diameter; 26 throat. Heavyweight profile. A compromise of all the medium characteristics, this mouthpiece is an excellent medium to large diameter mouthpiece.
18 HVY: 17.52 mm, .690" cup diameter; 26 throat. Heavyweight profile. The high point being nearer to the center makes this mouthpiece feel smaller than it is. The standard characteristics produce a rich, brilliant tone.
20 HVY: 17.78 mm, .700" cup diameter; 26 throat. Heavyweight profile. This large diameter is for the robust embouchure. Original mouthpiece of choice for Renold O. Schilke.
