Pro - HEVC Streaming Encoder

The BoxCaster Pro is the perfect tool for broadcasters who want to live stream in the highest quality from a compact, dedicated hardware encoder. Just send the BoxCaster Pro your produced video over its 12G SDI or HDMI 2.0 inputs, and bring in audio with the Balanced XLR and 1/4" combo inputs. Once you are live, you can monitor your stream by utilizing the 4.3” touchscreen and LED status ring.

The BoxCaster Pro has the ability to ingest video up to 4K60 and will be capable of streaming 4K video once the BoxCast Platform supports it. Capture and stream dynamic motion with high frame rate (up to 60FPS) support.

High-Quality Streaming with Less Bandwidth
Using next generation HEVC (H.265) encoding, the BoxCaster Pro allows you to stream with half of the required bandwidth as most encoders. Additionally, the BoxCaster Pro uses BoxCast’s proprietary streaming protocol, BoxCast Flow, to dynamically control the bit rate and add in forward error correction for a more reliable higher quality live stream.

Monitor video and audio levels from the 4.3” touchscreen on the BoxCaster Pro or plug in and listen to your broadcast with the headphone jack.

With mic or line level analog audio inputs via XLR or ¼” audio inputs or embedded audio, the BoxCaster Pro fits within almost every audio workflow. Adjustable gain allows you to connect a microphone directly to the BoxCaster Pro for an easy audio setup.

Wired or Wireless Internet

Streaming Plan Activation
Upon purchase of a BoxCaster Pro and a BoxCast Streaming Plan, an activation code will be emailed to you. Follow the instructions in the email to create your BoxCast account and start streaming.
