Advanced Video Recording and Output Options

The a7S III supports 4K video recording at up to 120p for slow-motion playback. It can also record 10-bit 4:2:2 video internally at up to 600 Mbps. 16-bit raw video output is possible over HDMI for recording with an external recorder. The camera offers S-Log3 gamma and HLG profiles for increased dynamic range and instant HDR workflows. Additional video features include variable frame rate recording, timecode sync and more.

Built-in 5-axis image stabilization provides up to 5.5 stops of compensation for sharp handheld shooting and video recording. The stabilization system works with any lens, including adapted and third-party lenses.
