Overview
Resembles the sound of an aged vintage Turkish cymbal.
The Bosphorus ride cymbal from the New Orleans Series feels as good behind a jazz kit as it does on a contemporary setup. It is completely hand-hammered in the traditional manner, then wide-lathed in a continuous spiral from bell to outer edge. The distinctive lathing produces a clear and woody stick sound with increased stick definition and trashy undertones. It resembles an aged vintage Turkish cymbal.
