The Gretsch Renown 4-Piece Shell Pack with 20" bass drum is one of the most versatile drum sets ever made—able to suit the needs for any musical genre and player. Now with one drum set you can play with the sensitivity and touch to handle the smoothest grooves of the 1950s; the attack and projection required to drive the most powerful compositions of the '60s and '70s; and the clarity and vibrance needed to faithfully reproduce the clean studio sounds of the '80s, '90s and beyond.

Crafted with 7-ply maple shells, the most popular wood in drum making, prized for its versatility both in the studio and on stage, the Gretsch Renown can handle any musical task. Although equipped with smaller drums, the configuration still produces plenty of volume and amazing rich tone thanks to its 30º bearing edges which provide more contact with the head for a rounder, fuller sound. Add on the signature Gretsch Silver Sealer and double flanged 302 hoops, this Renown kit delivers all the things that make Gretsch the mainstay it is today.
