Ludwig Vistalite Zep 4-Piece Drum Shell Pack With 26" Bass Drum - Teal

Few drum configurations are as closely associated with massive classic-rock sound as the oversized setup made famous by John Bonham. The Ludwig Vistalite Zep 4-piece shell pack channels that unmistakable approach with a 14x10" rack tom, 16x16" and 18x16" floor toms and an imposing 26x14" bass drum. Each 6 mm acrylic shell is handcrafted in the USA with reinforced seams and a precision 45-degree bearing edge designed to promote elevated sustain, crisp attack and a wide tuning range. Large Classic lugs and 2.3 mm triple-flanged hoops provide traditional Ludwig appointments, while Silver Dot batter heads and Clear Ambassador resonant heads complete the factory setup. Combining oversized dimensions with the transparent acrylic construction that has defined Vistalite since 1972, the Zep configuration brings one of Ludwig's most recognizable drum aesthetics to a commanding four-piece setup.

USA-Made Acrylic Shells Deliver Classic Vistalite Character

Vistalite's distinctive identity starts with its 6 mm acrylic shells, handcrafted in the USA with reinforced seams. Each shell features a precision 45-degree bearing edge designed to support elevated sustain, crisp attack and an unrestricted tuning range. Those characteristics extend across the entire Zep configuration, from the rack tom through the massive bass drum, while the transparent acrylic construction gives the kit its unmistakable visual identity. Large Classic lugs and 2.3 mm triple-flanged hoops add familiar Ludwig appointments, pairing the unconventional shell material with hardware rooted firmly in the company's acoustic drum tradition.

Oversized Zep Configuration Channels an Iconic Rock Setup

The Zep configuration takes its cues from the oversized drum setup associated with John Bonham, building around exceptionally generous shell dimensions. A 14x10" rack tom leads into 16x16" and 18x16" floor toms, creating a substantial progression across the kit, while the 26x14" bass drum provides its imposing foundation. Ludwig Silver Dot batter heads complement the acrylic shells with the snap and stick definition associated with the original 1970s design, while Clear Ambassador resonant heads complete the factory head configuration. Together, the four shells capture the scale and visual presence that make this particular Vistalite setup immediately recognizable.

Vistalite Heritage on a Commanding 4-Piece Scale

Since 1972, Vistalite has given drummers an alternative to conventional wood-shell construction through its unmistakable acrylic design. The Zep configuration pushes that platform toward the larger end of the spectrum, pairing two floor toms with a 26" bass drum while retaining the core shell construction, bearing edges and Ludwig appointments found throughout the series. Its four-piece format supplies the essential shells while leaving the snare, cymbals and additional hardware open to the drummer's preferred setup. For players drawn to the scale of Bonham-inspired drums and the distinctive character of acrylic construction, the Ludwig Vistalite Zep 4-piece shell pack brings together oversized dimensions, USA-made shells and enduring Vistalite design.
