Comments about Meinl Classics Custom Trash Splash Cymbal:

Years ago after trying all sorts of brands of china cymbals, the sound I was really looking for was found in the MEINL Custom Classic Trash. This is the sound needed for several rock songs even going back into the 60s and 70s (Steve Miller Rock n Me and others). I use the 12" for practice (lighter sound) and the 16" for gigs. These used to be very low price, but now apparently some people have caught on and though they are still lower cost than most, they've come up about 50% and this is a re-buy for me 3 yrs later. Still, they are worth every penny - great sound and great look whether hitting them with a mallet or smashing them hard during hard rock. Have fun having people ask you what's up with the holes !
