      Comments about Meinl Turbo Crasher:

I was looking for something a little less barbaric than the Rhythm Tech Ribbon Crasher and found this. It's a nice trash effect that's a little more subtle. The ridges for guiro effects makes it even more versatile and it's designed to mount in combination with other percussion effects and still be playable. I will use it mounted with a tamborine in my percussion setups and with my drum kit too. I tried it mounted to my hi-hat stand and found that it added a little rattle to my foot closures of the hats. I wouldn't want that always, but it was a nice new possible usage discovery.
