It works like this: spirals inside the Cajon press against the playing surface at a precisely defined angle. When the surfaces are played, the spirals vibrate in a controlled manner and produce a modern snare-cajon sound. The spiral technology can be removed from the 2inOne Cajon in one quick movement. The Cajon then produces the traditional Cuban sound.

Spiral technology for a modern snare-cajon sound.
This is one of Schlagwerk's most successful cajons. Its crisp, controlled sound coupled with its authentic crate-like design makes for a captivating instrument. The variable snare crossbar allows the traditional instrument to be changed into a universal Snare Cajon in just one move. This is a great choice for any acoustic jam.

Comments about SCHLAGWERK 2inOne Snare Cajon:
I had other cajons and tried other brands, like Meinl, LP... But this one sounds way better. I like the 2 in 1 versatility. You can make a peruvian cajon without snares in 1 minute. I play it for flamenco mostly. Great quality cajon. Spend a little more money. It's worthy.

Comments about SCHLAGWERK 2inOne Snare Cajon:
great sound but impractical to make quick changes from snare to unsnare and vice a versa . much cheaper brands can do this very effectively . why can`t these guys ? having to remove the whole snare apparatus out of the drum or back again is not what i would call practical when you need to change during tunes on stage .this cajon was falsely advertised to being able to change snare in a second. , i would not have bought this would this knowledge . so far the snare sound is on the weak side but there may be a way to improve that . i just got the cajon. the directions given in pamphlet about snare set up are terrible . anyway i think , because i do a lot of woodworking , and i have done it before with another cajon that i can change it up to adjust snare tension from nothing to full with an outside knob. once that`s done i`ll have the perfect cajon for my uses.
