This is a fantastic shell pack for the price. The all Birch shells provide a solid and consistent tone - and look great doing it. The finish on this set is absolutely beautiful. And the hardware... it's not only gorgeous, it's more versatile than ever. The star mount design is fantastic, and the adjustment keys can be moved to a position of your liking, which I believe makes it the most versatile kit available. The only thing I'd strongly recommend are some drum muffling rings. The toms are so solid, they are very loud and will definitely ring out. Great kit!!!

Having played drums for more than 40 years, I have owned and played many brands, but these drums are among the most lively and musical. I would be happy to take them on any stage, anywhere. The lacquer finish is flawless, lugs properly lubed and easy to tune, hoops are solid with consistent chroming, and the mounting system is sturdy and easy to adjust. The bass drum has incredible punch, and the snare offers good power and a clean, edgy cut when correctly tuned. The overall set is quite loud compared to some comparable brands, making it great for live performances. The factory batter heads are fairly basic, but will do nicely until upgrading to a head that will bring out more warmth from the birch shells. The only thing I disliked was the name, Accel-driver, which sounds like a golf club. Stick to Silverstar!

This Drumstset, I set up in my studio. It sounded amazing. I could find very little difference between this and my yamaha recording custom(3200 Dollars). I bought this kit for my son and it sounds very warm, almost like a very well controlled maple kit.

This drum kit sounds great right out of the box.The toms are responzive and have a great tone. The bass drum is AMAZING. the snare has a nice warm sound to it. If you are looking for a pro level kit at an amazing price buy this now!

I bought this drumset wanting to get a great sound at a great cost and it's exactly what I needed. It fits pretty much any style you can throw at it. It's also very durable. I'm a death metal drummer and I've been beating it to death almost every day since I bought it almost a year ago. Solid hardware.
