Overview

A sharp attack with a low, throaty roar.

A sharp, smoky attack gives the Wuhan Dark Koi Conical China cymbal an immediately recognizable voice, opening into a low, throaty roar. Its tall, playable bell also supports gritty ride-style patterns alongside explosive China accents, giving drummers more than one way to shape a phrase. B20 bronze construction supports a responsive attack, while the wash settles into a smooth, controlled decay that leaves room for the next rhythmic phrase. A dark patina gives the cymbal a weathered appearance that complements its raw-edged sound. The Wuhan Dark Koi Conical China cymbal gives drummers two contrasting voices to draw on: gritty bell patterns and low, gong-like crashes.
