Jackson electric guitars grew out of a small repair shop and into the stuff of legend beginning in the late 1970s. A mainstay in the world of hard rock and heavy metal, Jackson guitars are known for their searing sound and striking designs.  Founder Grover Jackson first rose to prominence when he acquired the Charvel brand in 1978. Soon after this he was approached by the legendary Randy Rhoads with an idea for a new, one-of-a-kind guitar. The result of this meeting was Randy’s iconic Concorde guitar, which was an incredibly amped up revamp of the Flying V. Because this guitar was like nothing the Charvel brand had released before, Jackson decided to label the guitar with his own name… and a legend was born.

Throughout the 80s, 90s and 2000s, many hard rock and metal musicians have sworn by Jackson electric guitars. Marty Friedman and Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, Robbin Crosby of RATT, Phil Collen of Def Leppard, Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden, Scott Ian of Anthrax and more have all frantically worked the frets of iconic Jackson guitars.

It’s easy to understand why Jackson’s are so loved by rockers. Aggressive designs such as the ones featured on the KVMG Pro V King Electric Guitar, the JS32 Warrior Electric Guitar and the KE2 Kelly USA Electric Guitar practically scream “Plug me in! Crank me up!” Today, these guitars are synonymous with metal and almost every one of its countless sub-genres. Whether you’re playing thrash, speed metal, death metal, the NWOBHM, goth rock, industrial metal, skate metal, or any other style of metal, it’s always going to sound a whole lot better on a Jackson.

From a tiny guitar repair shop, to the largest stages in the world, Jackson is the go-to name for heavy metal guitarists. These second-to-none instruments look the part and, more importantly, sound the part, so your blistering solos and distorted crunch will always sound incredible.
