Best for the Money

I've had my Granada since 1988 and it has never failed me. The banjo has a velvet-type tone; while not waivering when I really dig into it. The banjo performs well whether I'm playing on stage, jamming, or recording. It simply has not let me down--ever. Provided that Gibson has stuck to their formula used in the 88-94 Granadas, you will not find a better new banjo for the money.
