I looked forward to receiving the accordion. Very disappointed when I had to return it. However, I had no problem getting a quick response. I hope the exchange works out.

Comments about Hohner 72 Bass Entry Level Piano Accordion:

I've had my accordion for 3 years. I installed a nylon back pad to protect the bellows and works great. If you get this instrument with bass buttons pushed in, you can unstick the buttons by removing the bass panel and use a coat hanger to realign buttons to the holes. The stuck buttons usually are due to the package being dropped during shipping. Then you can apply a light coat of machine oil to the aluminum levers to improve action. The sound and action improves with playing. If you are not savey doing such a repair, consult your retailer for exchange or refund. The piano keyboard has a wonderful fast spring action which is great for playing dance music and polkas. I love the sound of the German reeds which have just the right amount of tremelo to give a slight wet sound and volume is perfection. The shift keys work just fine and give the right amount of variation to make your music exciting. Overall, I've been very satisfied with my instrument. I practice about 30 minutes to an hour each day and have found it to improve in function and sound overtime. It plays better today than when I first received it, so I am very satisfied.

        Good

Comments about Hohner 72 Bass Entry Level Piano Accordion:

The product is good. It was received in good condition, thank God. I purchased a blemished one, and few keys keys sounded wrong. By the grace of God, I was able to check some videos on youtube which show how to adjust the keys inside the accordion and was able to fix the issue. After that, it sounded great and is such a joy to play, no problems at all. Weight is reasonable and the bellows were also in good condition. If you happen to purchase a blemished one and having problems, try checking the videos as I did, it will help you solve the problem, and you become a novice repair guy in the process.

Comments about Hohner 72 Bass Entry Level Piano Accordion:

I wanted to enjoy my youth again when I played in a Polka Band. But was disappointed with the product; I waited all day for the delivery.....when I saw the condition of the box I was concerned. It was very dirty. When I took it out of the box that contained the Accordion my concerned grew. There was one closing flap that held the top down missing. When I inspected the accordion I was shocked. All of the bass buttons were down inside the accordion save for two rows. This was the third one....the first two also had quality issues and I returned them for an exchange. Back it goes today for a refund this time.....no exchange. Three bad ones is enough for me. MF should eliminate this accordion from it's product line.
