I play guitar and bass for personal enjoyment so I'm not an expert in harmonicas, but wanted an affordable set to play when me and my friends get together and jam to the blues. For such an affordable set I must say they sound really good in all the keys, and their tone and volume are good as well. I checked each one for sharp edges and construction issues, and all checked out great. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this set not to mention the really nice storage case they came in. Just a good quality - solid value set of harmonicas that I'm glad I purchased.

I am learning how to play and have a German M. Blues Harp but wanted to get a variety of keys. I figured for the price it was worth a try. I got 7 for the price of 1 and kind of regret it. The harps are light weight. They have access to the reeds if you want to work on them. The top1-2 reeds do not play well in all the keys. You must blow hard to get a sound and it does not sound good. The low end plays well in/out but forget the top. OK to learn on or try if you haven't played anything better before. Wish I would have stepped up and got something of a better quality.

Comments about Silver Creek 7 Pack of Blues Style Harmonicas:

No complaints about how these harps play and sound. My complaints are the key lettering is wearing off, and the corners and edges are uncomfortable in my hand when trying to hold the harp in the hand using the C grip. Otherwise, a great product! I am just learning how to play, even though I've been messing with harmonica for e few years on a couple of Special 20s. I would say these Ironworks Silver Creeks are comparable to the Special 20 in many ways. The case is nice. I will be considering Lee Oskar harps in the future because of the overall design.

This is a terrific set for practice. Well worth the money. Very close to the Hohner Special 20. If a reed goes bad, it's an inexpensive replacement. Glad I got it!

Comments about Silver Creek 7 Pack of Blues Style Harmonicas:

This set was very reasonably priced and contained just about all the keys one could need. I wanted a set on which to learn how to accompany myself on Guitar ie: Bob Dylan tunes. The set came and while I have not put all seven to the test yet, the two I have tried sound fine and I am pleasantly surprised at the apparent build quality. They have stainless covers and appear to me well made. I own a high price Hohner Marine Band harmonica and these seem to be simiar in quality of construction.

Comments about Silver Creek 7 Pack of Blues Style Harmonicas:

These are quite playable, and bendable, even though they do leak air. They do not sound as sweet as the Special 20, but they do remind me of my Special 20s that I have had for years. I bought the Silver Creeks to get more keys, and I'm not sorry I did. They are decent, now that I am playing my older Special 20s, I am realizing the Silver Creeks do leak air somewhat. The gold lettering designating key wears off, and the harps are not the most comfortable in the hand. I do not regret my purchase, but would not buy again.
