Premium CTS potentiometers provide smooth control over each pickup, complemented by Grover Rotomatic tuners and a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge for dependable performance. Complete with classic binding, nickel hardware and an included premium gig bag, the Epiphone ES-335 delivers the timeless character and versatile performance that have made the design an enduring electric guitar icon.

5-Ply Maple/Poplar Semi-Hollow Body Balances Resonance and Sustain

The Epiphone ES-335 stays true to the construction that made the original design so distinctive, with a semi-hollow body built from 5-ply layered maple and poplar and reinforced by a solid maple center block. The hollow wings contribute warmth, depth and acoustic resonance, while the center block provides a more solid foundation through the heart of the instrument, enhancing sustain and helping control unwanted feedback at amplified volumes. The familiar double-cutaway shape provides comfortable access into the upper register, while single-ply binding along the top and back cleanly frames the classic ES-335 silhouette.

Rounded C Mahogany Neck Offers Comfortable, Familiar Playability

A glued-in mahogany neck carved to a Rounded C profile gives the ES-335 a comfortably substantial feel that works naturally across chords and lead playing. Its 24.75" scale provides a slightly relaxed string response, while the bound rosewood fingerboard combines a 12" radius with 22 medium-jumbo frets for smooth fretting and expressive bends throughout the neck. Simple dot inlays reinforce the instrument’s understated style, and a Graph Tech nut provides a consistent contact point for the strings. Together, the familiar proportions and versatile neck geometry complement the ES-335's broad musical range with an inviting, responsive playing feel.

Alnico Classic PRO Humbuckers Deliver Warm, Versatile Tone

Dual Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers give the ES-335 a broad tonal palette that complements its resonant semi-hollow construction. The neck pickup offers warm, full-bodied sounds with plenty of detail, while the bridge pickup brings greater bite and definition for articulate rhythm work and expressive leads. A three-way toggle provides immediate access to either pickup or both together, with dedicated volume and tone controls for each pickup allowing precise adjustment and flexible blending in the middle position. Premium CTS potentiometers provide smooth, responsive control, giving players plenty of room to shape the ES-335's voice directly from the guitar.

Grover Tuners and LockTone Hardware Ensure Dependable Performance

Grover Rotomatic tuning machines provide smooth, precise adjustment at the Kalamazoo-style headstock, working alongside the Graph Tech nut to support stable tuning and straightforward string changes. A LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge offers individual saddle adjustment for accurate intonation, paired with a LockTone stopbar tailpiece for a secure, dependable string anchor. Nickel hardware and pickup covers complement the guitar's gloss finish, while single-ply body and fingerboard binding, mother-of-pearl Epiphone branding and a Gibson crown headstock inlay reinforce the classic presentation. An included premium gig bag provides convenient protection for storage and transport.

A Timeless Semi-Hollow Built for Today’s Players

Introduced in 1958, the ES-335 provided the blueprint for the modern semi-hollow electric, using a solid center block to balance acoustic resonance with the sustain and control demanded by amplified playing. That remarkably versatile formula has remained at the heart of the ES-335 for generations, wrapped in an instantly recognizable double-cut design. The Epiphone ES-335 left-handed semi-hollowbody electric guitar carries that legacy forward as part of the Inspired by Gibson Collection, staying true to the classic construction and familiar feel of the original while adding Alnico Classic PRO pickups, CTS electronics and dependable modern hardware. More than six decades later, the ES-335 remains a testament to the timeless elegance and lasting versatility of a truly inspired electric guitar design.
