Overview
The legendary '56 Strat with new "Abby Red Hots" pickups.
The neck profile and the sound that of that guitar helped shape the historical icon that it is today. For 2011, Fender has taken the 1956 model and supercharged it with an electrifying, hopped-up, twisted tone tool that will blast through any bandstand. The neck's flatter radius and taller frets allow smooth bending and lower action. Introduced on the '56 Relic Strat are a new set of pickups designed and handwound by Abigail Ybarra called "Abby Red Hots". The guitar sounds woody, deep, loud, and a bit more aggressive that its vintage counterpoint.
