Comments about Fender DG-60 Acoustic Guitar:
This is a very good beginner guitar. The features and sound of the guitar are very good for the price. The playability will enable a beginner to acclimate themselves with the guitar as they learn. Why shell out big bucks for a guitar if you don't even know how to play or know if you will stick to playing. This guitar is a brand name guitar at an affordable price. I have no complaints, and recommend this guitar for beginners.
Comments about Fender DG-60 Acoustic Guitar:
I am a drummer and purchased this guitar so I could assist my band with songs and continue some sort of musicianship while away at college where a drum set was out of the question. I am rating the guitar based on my uses for it, and for a practice guitar, this thing is perfect. Great sound, great quality, and a brand name for an unbeatable price. I wouldn't take it to the stage personally but I'm sure it could handle it.
Comments about Fender DG-60 Acoustic Guitar:
I recently bought this guitar from GC in black. When i first got it home, like someone else said it had some really bad fret buzz at the first four frets. I got rid of the stock fender strings and replaced them with ernie ball earthwood lights. This seemed to help a bit. I also shimmed the saddle up a bit and adjusted the truss rod as best I could. After these few adjustments the guitar is much better then it was when I brought it home. As a general rule factory set ups suck anyway so you should expect to have to tweak it a little. Overall this guitar serves my purpose well as i use mostly for songwriting and the occasional coffee house gig. All in a a decent guitar, very well built and the black finish on mine is a big plus. If you buy this guitar, don't expect perfection out of the box. Take it to your local luthier and let them it properly set it up for you, it should only coast about 25-50 bucks to get this done. Fender did ok here, ,not the best but I've seen much worse.

Ive been playing for about 6 years and this is the only guitar that has given me problems. When i first got the guitar there was a nasty buzz, so i got it adjusted and it didnt work, the buzz never left. I ended up Exchanging it and the buzz was even worse. I recommend that no one buys this guitar
