OVERVIEW

Compact in size, big on tone.

Here's a great one for solidbody players who want to transition to a hollowbody. Made in Memphis, the Gibson ES-339 Satin Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar is more compact than an ES-335 and almost as small as a Les Paul, yet still retains the bell-like quality players love. It comes with Super '57 Classic humbuckers, CTS pots and ceramic capacitors. Nickel hardware includes a TonePros long anchor and tailpiece stud, along with Kluson tuners. Comes with case.

Comments about Gibson ES-339 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar:

Bought it first year out and have never put it down. I walk by my 339 and it calls to me to play it.

What a great neck! Fantastic Pickups and the sounds they can create. This is the guitar I always go to.

In clubs or someones house or back yard with the right amp there is nothing you can't do. Buy this Guitar and you will not be dissapointed.

Comments about Gibson ES-339 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar:

I would like to say, this is a fantastic guitar. I bought a "blemished" item and I was unable to find anything. This is an incredible and versatile guitar and I would recommend it to anyone.

Couple of notes, I am a tinkerer and love messing with guitars, so this was no big deal for me, but the guitar that came to me was horrendously set up. Once I performed a full setup, the guitar plays like butter (I actually had to raise the action). The electronics sound very good, however I will note that I notice a significant amount of tone clarity loss when using the tone pots. Usually I am able to dial some of the screechy highs effectively out of the pickups, but I am unable to do that with these pots.

Another note, the satin finish is fantastic, doesn't pick up grime as much as I thought it would, and if you look at it you can actually see the beautiful swirls of the wood beneath it.

Comments about Gibson ES-339 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar:

Love this guitar- I own alot of Gibsons and have been in a f-hole mood of late- this baby is just the right size for me as I play sitting down in a jazz setting- neck finish does not sweat up and the tone and black finish give it a claasy look- a super axe!
