Genuine mahogany body with '59 Tribute pickups.

This Gibson Les Paul Traditional Limited Edition is available in very limited quantities. Featuring a Genuine Mahogany Gibson Slim Taper profile neck, glued into a weight relieved Genuine Mahogany body, the guitarist gets all of the warmth and fatness of tone associated with Genuine Mahogany.

As in the first Les Paul from 1952, a carved Maple top adds brightness and unreal sustain to the guitar. This Maple top is offered featuring a heavy and beautiful dose of figure. Figure is rare in Maple, perhaps one in a thousand trees. Figure this nice is far more rare and highly prized.

A 1.67" width Graph Tech nut sits atop a Rosewood fingerboard sporting the famous 12" Gibson radius and separated by cryogenically treated Medium Jumbo frets for longer wear and more tonal edge. All Gibson USA guitars final setup happens on the world famous PLEK system which is accurate from one guitar to another within .001".

Those are real Mother of Pearl Trapezoid inlays. The massive tones in this beast are amplified by a pair of very special Gibson 1959 Tribute Humbucker pickups. The 1959 Tribute pickups feature Alnico II magnets for transparency of tone, unbalanced windings in each coil for a more authentic sound, with Slugs and Coils reversed for better balance between pickups.

Finished in Gibson's Heritage Cerry Sunburst by hand using thin layers of old world Nitrocellulose Lacquer, this rare ToneMeister is shrouded in a Gibson Hardsell Case and comes with the dependable Gibson Limited Lifetime Warranty

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Traditional Limited Edition Electric Guitar:

I have been playing since the 60's...six, twelve, etc. ...have a 72 Gibson Dove, a fine guitar. was playing an ESP guitar with Floyd Rose bridge/ whammy lock downs etc. This is my first Les Paul. For the price I paid, I was unsure of what I would receive. Here is what I found.
The wood grain and the finish were flawless. The photo on the web did not do it justice. The guitar was set up with Ernie Ball 0.90 Slinky Strings "per my request" ...They feel good...can really "bend em" ....I am not heavy handed ...The signature "growl' and sustain are there...I am not a Les Paul expert however, I understand quality and value when I encounter it....This guitar begs me to massage my phrases and be a better musician....and helps me do it. What else can I say?? dan
