Overview

This limited version harkens back to the early days of the F-30.

Guild introduced the F-30 Aragon, the smallest of its original flat-top guitars, in 1954. Early versions featured a unique orchestra body shape with a spruce top and maple back and sides; it had acquired a mahogany back and sides by 1959, as found on our current Traditional Series version of this model. This limited special-run version harkens back to the early days of the F-30 by returning to maple for the back and sides-beautifully figured AAAAA-grade maple, in this case. With that and a premium Adirondack red spruce top, this is a beautiful guitar with a strong, clear voice.

Other special features include an ebony fingerboard and bridge, tortoise body binding, ebony headcap with mother-of-pearl œVintage G logo, 12th fret abalone œG inlay, custom gold Gotoh open-back tuners with white œG-shield buttons, 1.75 bone nut, bone saddle, œParisian eye bone bridge pins and a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Each guitar also includes a Guild leather strap and a Planet Waves soundhole humidifier.
