OVERVIEW

Non-cutaway model with thinbody arched maple top.

Guild' T-50 is based on a mid-1960s T-50 model and features an arched maple back, maple sides, and a sleek, sunburst finish. With beautiful vintage details like the Guild harp tailpiece, iconic center-raised headstock and ivoroid binding, the T-50 harkens back to the classic Guild vibe of the 1950s and '60s. Low output single-coil pickups and an easy-to-amplify 1-3/4" body depth complete this guitar, which promises to offer another generation of guitarists the distinctive Guild styling and voice.

Comments about Guild T-50 Slim Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

Way to go Guild! This T-50 Slim is a great guitar. Vintage looks and vibe! Fit and finish is excellent. The poly is smooth, not too thick, just right. Hardware is great quality. Good tuners, the Guild Harp tailpiece is very cool. Neck is nice, smooth frets and fret ends. Franz single coil pickup puts out some serious vintage tones! Case is nice Guild hard shell. Only complaint so far is the bridge was not fitted exactly. There is a very small gap on one side of both ends of the bridge. Looking for a nice guitar for Blues, Jazz, Rockabilly, Indie Rock? Guild's got you covered!

Comments about Guild T-50 Slim Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

My search for a thin, hollowed body sunburst guitar is finally over when I laid my eyes on the Guild T-50. It has a sweet chime to it and plays well in open air, then when you plug it in the sound output just soars. I love the overall look and feel, and the neck is smooth and thin and action is great, very easy playing/strumming; perfectly setup right out of the box. Solid and well-constructed. The included case is high-quality and beautiful too. Thank you Guild for my new guitar!

Comments about Guild T-50 Slim Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

This is hard review for me...I really liked the sound of this Guild. I love Guilds in general. But, I couldnt get this particular guitar to play well. Everytime I got the action to where I liked it, it would fret out in different areas of the fretboard. Took it to my tech, we'll known and tech to some superstars. He told me it needed a fret leveling... So I wasn't about to spend any kind of money on a new guitar. Unfortunately, I had to send it back. Kudos to MF for making the return easy. It did cost me a lot to send back....Anyway, I would bet another one of these would be good, real good, but I couldn't aford to take another chance in case it wasn't...Guild is making some real good guitars these days, I just got a bad one
