It has a rosewood scoop bevel cutaway for upper fret access and a rosewood armrest. A mahogany/rosewood rosette accents the top, which is in turn framed by its rosewood/black front and back binding.

Black/White front and back purfling continues its appointments, as do a maple back center strip and a maple butt center strip. A mahogany neck provides a sure, straight and true playing experience and a rosewood headstock with Maple Islander name identifier add the crowning jewel.
