Comments about Italia Mondial Sportster Electric Guitar:

I bought this for the humbuckers to play songs with distorition. It fills that bill well, plus with the four volume/tone knobs, you can vary the sound from clean to grundge, depending on your effects, PA, or amp. Very easy to play and stays in tune as well as other more expensive guitars. Workmanship and fit is first rate. Mine came with a hard case also. Italia is slowly taking over the market in medium-priced, quality guitars that are easy to play, built well, and look good.

Comments about Italia Mondial Sportster Electric Guitar:

I own this and it's a high quality axe with a very retro vibe. Mine is a couple of years old and includes a Piezo pick-up under the bridge for acoustic sound along with 2nd jack labeled acoustic and the other jack labeled electric, so you can switch from electric to acoustic with the flick of the selector switch. I think the new ones no longer include this but I'm not sure. This is as close as I could get to a LesPaul in my budget. And I'm not the least disapointed. You can get a great variety of tones from the# 2 Wilkinson WHHB humbuckers . Beautiful pearl inlay, very comfortable neck, fairly wide like a LP. Very easy to play. Action is adjustable at the bridge via thumb screws. High quality tuners. Stays in tune. I love it.

One of the very best guitars I own!!!! Hands down!!!!

Comments about Italia Mondial Sportster Electric Guitar:

I got this guitar at Musician's Friends sister company Guitar Center. It was used. It had 1 nick in the body of the guitar. The employer that worked there sold it to Guitar Center. First of all I love vintage guitars. Sears, Silvertone's, Silvertone reissues. Old Supro's, Airline's Kent's etccc... And yes I love new guitars as well. So Trever Wilkerson that makes Vintage, And Wilkerson guitar parts made the Italia's. They are such great quality. The Italia's look just like the old guitars but play 100 times better. Mine is a Korina body with fiberglass or Resoglass on it. It has Wilkerson pickups. It has 1 volume and 1 tone for the pickups. And a second guitar jack. Why you ask? It has a hidden piezo under the bridge. 1 volume and 2 tone knobs for the piezo. And nice bridge. The best looking retro bridge ever. Stunning. It has that classic tail piece with the number 7 on it. It stays in tune very well. It is a heavy guitar. Very heavy. unlike the old Supro Resoglass guitars. Graphite nut. Bolt on maple neck. 1 bolt. It is stable and is not going anywhere. It has a 2 ban EQ tone control and independent volume control. You can run it into 2 amplifiers at the same time for 2 different tones at the same time. How cool is that. And it uses a 9 volt battery. When you use the tone controls for the piezo they click at 5. having it on 5 gives you that nice midrange sound. The guitar can play rock, country, easing listening, jazz and anything in between. The piezo sound is different. Not really like a acoustic sound. But a great sound never the less. I just love the guitar. 1 draw back though. the person that had it before me changed the machine heads to kluson's machine heads. the Italia machine heads is much better. And why they was changed who knows? As I said it is one of the best guitars I own. New it is 579. It is worth that. I got mine used 350 out the door. It has that vintage look I love. The old single cut style. The original's are to expensive.
