OVERVIEW

(Open Box) When an Iconic start met an iconic guitar.

Based on David Bowie's iconic 1961 Supro Dual Tone, featured on the "Reality" album, this instrument carries the echoes of rock-and-roll history, being also similar to the guitar Link Wray played on the classic "Rumble." Loaded with loving recreations of Supro's Vistatone pickups, it's got a snarling, biting tone all its own, and the classic Supro/Valco sense of retro-modern style. Don't think it's just a reproduction, though. Supro has updated the guitar with a modern ergonomic neck joint and a tummy cut for easy upper fret access and more comfortable playing. The mirrored headstock adds a suitable touch of Bowie's inimitable style, just as icing on the guitar that he dearly loved. Includes gig bag.

  • Gloss-finished solid mahogany body
  • 24.75"-scale maple neck, 22-fret pau ferro fingerboard, mirrored headstock
  • Dual Supro Vistatone single-coil pickups, 3-way switch
