The USA made 1778T Elite T Acoustic-Electric Guitar from Ovation incorporates a simpler, untrimmed, 11-hole pattern that enhances the low and mid range punch. The rock maple neck profile has also been slimmed down to give it a look and feel more appealing to electric guitar players. An ultra light, yet incredibly durable, textured enamel finish is wrapped around the entire back and top.

The Elite T is outfitted with the new Ovation OP-30 preamp. Rich, bright and super quiet, the OP30 raises the bar in its class. Three bands of EQ plus the ability to shift the mid band to either a 450Hz or 970Hz gives you complete control over your sound. There's also a Pre-Shape circuit that not only lifts the bass and treble, but also reduces "rumble" from frequencies below 40Hz. And of course there's an on-board chromatic tuner.
