PRS S2 Standard 22 Satin Electric Guitar - Matcha Green

The PRS S2 Standard 22 Satin brings warm all-mahogany tone and wide-ranging versatility to a streamlined American-made workhorse, pairing the vintage-inspired sweetness of 58/15 LT pickups with the open resonance of a thin satin nitro finish. A solid mahogany body and set mahogany neck provide a rich foundation with strong mids and powerful sustain, while a 25" scale Pattern Regular neck and rosewood fingerboard offer a comfortable, familiar feel. Dual 58/15 LT humbuckers balance that natural warmth with clear highs and strong definition, with a five-way blade opening up a broad range of sounds from the two-pickup layout. A PRS patented tremolo and Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons provide expressive control with dependable tuning performance. Built in Stevensville, Maryland, the S2 Standard 22 Satin combines versatile tone, comfortable playability and road-ready hardware in a purposeful design made to handle regular stage and studio use.

Thin Satin Nitro Finish Enhances All-Mahogany Resonance

Solid mahogany construction gives the S2 Standard 22 Satin a warm, resonant foundation with rich mids and a full-bodied response. The set mahogany neck creates a solid connection to the body that supports sustain, while the thin satin nitro finish allows the natural resonance of the wood to come through with an open clarity and lively response. An asymmetric bevel adds comfortable contouring to the streamlined solidbody shape, giving the guitar a natural fit against the player. Together, the all-mahogany construction and thin finish create a responsive platform that sounds equally compelling plugged directly into an amp or routed through a modern pedalboard.

Pattern Regular Neck Offers Familiar PRS Playability

The S2 Standard 22 Satin pairs a Pattern Regular mahogany neck with PRS's characteristic 25" scale for a balanced playing feel suited to everything from chord work to expressive lead playing. Its 10"-radius rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth, comfortable surface across 22 frets, while the Pattern Regular carve offers substantial support without feeling overly bulky in the hand. PRS bird inlays bring a familiar visual signature to the otherwise understated design, and a double-acting truss rod provides precise adjustment for maintaining the neck over time. Together, the proportions give the S2 Standard 22 Satin an approachable feel with plenty of room for technical playing.

USA-Made 58/15 LT Pickups Balance Warmth and Clarity

A pair of Maryland, USA-made PRS 58/15 LT humbuckers complements the S2 Standard 22 Satin's all-mahogany construction with clear highs, strong mids and vintage-inspired sweetness. Their articulate response keeps the guitar's naturally rich voice defined, allowing individual notes to remain clear through chords while retaining the fullness expected from a dual-humbucker setup. A five-way blade switch draws a versatile selection of sounds from the pickup pair, giving players plenty of tonal range without complicating the control layout. Master volume and tone controls keep adjustments direct and intuitive, making it easy to move between sounds onstage, in the studio or through a pedal-heavy rig.

PRS Tremolo and Phase III Tuners Support Confident Performance

The PRS patented tremolo provides smooth, expressive pitch control while maintaining the solid response expected from a performance-focused bridge. At the headstock, PRS Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons secure the strings for dependable tuning stability while making string changes quick and straightforward. Nickel hardware keeps the presentation clean and understated, complementing the S2 Standard 22 Satin's streamlined aesthetic rather than competing with it. The guitar ships with PRS Signature 10–46 strings and a premium gig bag, providing practical protection for rehearsals, sessions and gigs.

A Versatile American-Made Workhorse Built for the Gig

The PRS S2 Standard 22 Satin keeps the focus on the features working players rely on most: resonant solid-wood construction, comfortable playability, flexible electronics and dependable hardware. Its thin satin nitro finish complements the warmth of the all-mahogany build with an open, lively response, while articulate 58/15 LT pickups provide the clarity and range to work equally well straight into an amp or at the center of a modern pedalboard. Made in Maryland, the PRS S2 Standard 22 Satin brings American craftsmanship and broad musical versatility together in a straightforward instrument designed to handle the demands of serious musicians.
