PRS Tekton Floyd Electric Guitar - Black Satin Neck, Neon Green

The PRS Tekton Floyd takes the family's modern performance platform into more aggressive territory, combining sculpted ergonomics, articulate electronics and a Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo for expressive pitch control. Its lightweight alder body features contoured edges and a shallow violin carve for comfort and balance, while a bolt-on maple neck with PRS's Modern D profile and black satin nitro finish provides a smooth, responsive playing feel. A 16"-radius ebony fingerboard with 24 stainless steel jumbo frets supports precise fretting and fluid lead work across two full octaves. Purpose-built PRS Stylus humbuckers deliver articulate tone with clear note definition through high-gain amplifiers and digital rigs, complemented by push/pull coil splitting for brighter single-coil textures. A Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo and locking nut provide dramatic pitch control with dependable tuning stability, completing an instrument built for demanding technical playing and performance.

Sculpted Alder Body Combines Comfort With Modern Styling

The Tekton Floyd features a lightweight alder body with PRS's shallow violin carve, creating a distinctive solidbody platform built for comfort and precision. Sculpted contours and a comfortable belly carve provide a close fit against the player during extended rehearsals, recording sessions and performances. The body's exaggerated upper cutaway also supports access to the highest frets, accommodating demanding lead techniques and intricate passages. Unlike the figured mango and mahogany construction of other Tekton models, the Floyd's alder body offers a streamlined aesthetic suited to its performance-focused design. A high-gloss nitro finish accentuates the body's flowing contours, bringing visual depth to the guitar's contemporary appearance.

Modern D Maple Neck and Ebony Fingerboard Support Fluid Playing

The Tekton Floyd's bolt-on maple neck features PRS's Modern D profile, combining a slim playing feel with substantial support for comfortable, controlled fretting. Its black satin nitro finish provides a smooth surface for movement along the neck, while the 25.5" scale delivers responsive string tension. A relatively flat 16"-radius ebony fingerboard offers a precise playing surface for expressive bends, intricate chord voicings and fluid lead work. Twenty-four stainless steel jumbo frets provide a durable, consistent fretting surface across two full octaves, complemented by offset dot inlays and blue Luminlay side dots for visibility on dark stages. Wider string spacing supports precise picking and sweeping techniques, completing a neck design tailored to contemporary playing styles.

PRS Stylus Humbuckers Deliver Articulate, Versatile Electric Tone

Developed specifically for the Tekton family, PRS Stylus humbuckers are voiced for articulation, clarity and dynamic response across a range of playing environments. Their focused character preserves individual note definition through clean amplification and saturated gain alike, allowing complex chords and fast passages to remain clear. Designed for traditional tube amplifiers and modern digital modeling systems, the Stylus pickups feature a comparatively flatter output response than many other PRS humbuckers, retaining character while accommodating different amplification platforms. A three-way blade switch provides pickup selection, while a push/pull tone control activates split-coil sounds for brighter, leaner textures. Both humbucking and split configurations are voiced for musical balance, giving players a versatile range of sounds without sacrificing clarity.

Floyd Rose 1000 Series Delivers Extreme Tremolo Control

The Tekton Floyd features a Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo designed for demanding pitch manipulation, from wide vibrato and dramatic dive bombs to flutter effects and aggressive tremolo techniques. Its locking bridge and nut secure the strings at both ends, helping maintain tuning stability through repeated pitch changes and intensive performance. The bridge's 16" radius matches the ebony fingerboard for consistent string geometry across all six strings. PRS Phase III non-locking tuners provide precise tuning adjustments, while smoked black hardware and the black satin nitro neck finish complement the Hot Pink, Neon Green and White Holoflake body finishes. An included PRS premium gig bag provides protection for transport and storage.

Precision Engineering Meets Unrestricted Musical Expression

Its sculpted alder body and Modern D maple neck provide ergonomic comfort, while the ebony fingerboard and stainless steel frets support technical precision and fluid playability. Purpose-built Stylus humbuckers offer tonal flexibility across traditional and digital amplification, complemented by the dramatic pitch control of the Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo. For guitarists seeking an instrument suited to intricate rhythms, expressive lead work and demanding performance environments, the PRS Tekton Floyd electric guitar combines modern specifications, versatile electronics and high-performance hardware.
