OVERVIEW

A glorious classic with the warmth of walnut.

A natural spin on a classic, the W Series brings the same full, rich and warm sound that have made 330's popular since the 1960s. The iconic design is now strengthened with the natural character of walnut and polished with an oil finish. Two single-coil pickups on a full size body are accented by a traditionally shaped sound hole. The 24-fret maple fingerboard is punctuated by dot inlay fret markers, with full double cutaways permitting access to all the frets. A blend control adds a bit of magic for dialing in just the right amount of neck pickup signal to the mix. Standard output is monaural through a single jack plate. Also available with twelve strings (our SKU#J06713). Includes case.

      Comments about Rickenbacker 330W:

What a looker! The guitars natural finish really let's all that walnut wood grain shine through! The neck has the same finish more or less has the body and allows for quick playing and I do say that the neck on this 330 feels a lot better than others I have felt. The guitar has some really nice resonance for playing acoustically as well as jamming on 5 watt amps all the way 100 watt full stacks. I have played several wrecking backers and the only thing I wish this guitar had was slightly more output from the bridge pickup. This is a vintage style guitar and the electronics really let that vintage tone shine through so it's understandable.
