better than expectations.

This guitar is far better than I expected. Love the feel of this guitar and the ebony fretboard is amazing. The Neck pickup is the best part..It's a high output humbucker that is bright and clear. The coil taps work well. It's definetly got a rock vibe going for it. The build quality of this instrument far exceeds my expectations. Now for my concerns.... the neck pickuup is average..... it really doesn't do much for me....but again the bridge pickup is fantastic..... The bigsby adds a great value, but it also makes finding a case that fits this thing a little more difficult. and finally, although it's a great guitar, there are some other guitars out there that are a better value than the Porl Thompson signature version. But it's a great guitar that I hope many will try out and see...

Great Guitar

I have a ton of guitars, from Gibsons, Fenders, Gretsches, and Rickenbackers. I bought this one only because I am a huge Porl fan. I was surprised that Schecter could make a guitar this great. Is has the best feeling neck I have every played. It is also incrediably versital in the sounds you can get out of it. I would recommend this one to anybody looking to buy a hollow body.

Very nice Guitar for the money and While I gave it a slighlty lower rateing on quality I still rank it as an over all best value. I play it all from Heavy Metal to country and this guitar is as versatile as it gets.I havn't had to sacrifice one sound over another with this guitar. My only quality complaint has to do with the push pull knobs even seated as far as they will go they are crooked and one will come off as soon as you try to pull it out to split the coil and has been like that since the day I recieved it. Should be a simple fix though. (It hasn't bothered me enough to go buy a new set of knobs) this guitar is used in the Studio as well as live Shows and it performs well and has not let me down yet.( But Yes we carry spare guitars) It was and is well worth the Money at 1279. you could spend 2 to 3 times that and not have one as good as this. and an Absolute steal at its current price.

I have been demoing this guitar recently, and it is the best. The coil tap feature works really well on this guitar, go from single to humbucker in no time. The finger board and body are well constructed, great full tone. Compared to my SG and Jimmie Vaughn Strat, this sounds fuller and dare I say better. It is like I was blind and now I see!!
