A V-shaped guitar with a set neck and coil-splittable Seymour Duncan pickups.
The Schecter V-1 SPECIAL EDITION PASSIVE Electric Guitar is ideal for guitarists who prefer the punchiness and midrange push of non-active pickups. The V-shaped body is made of bound mahogany and features a set neck of 3-pc mahogany with Ultra Access Construction. The smooth rosewood fingerboard has 22 jumbo frets and creme dot inlays for quick and precise fingering. Powerful Seymour Duncan APH-1 Pickups with dual volumes, one master tone with tap and a 3-way switch offer a variety of humbucker and single-coil type tones. Schecter locking tuners and a TonePros TOM system will keeps things in tune even during the most aggresive performance.
Schecter Locking Tuners
Schecter Locking Tuners feature a locking screw pin to lock the string into place for greater tuning stability. Details include a 19:1 gear ratio allowing for precise fine tuning adjustments, removable knobs, threaded peghead bushing, and a 10mm diameter peg hole.
Rosewood Finger Board
The most common fretboard, Rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is richer in fundamental than Maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores.
Seymour Duncan APH-1 Set
The Alnico 2 magnet and moderate windings yield a warm, sweet tone with more natural string vibration for great sustain. Classic rock players who get their distortion from the amp rather than the pickup love the APH-1. It allows them to back off the crunch and get beautiful clean tones with softer attack. Compared to the '59, the Alnico II Pro has a rounder sound with a spongier bass response. The split Black and Creme bobbin adds to the vintage 'hotrod' look!
3-pc Mahogany Neck
Made with 3 pieces of mahogany for extra stability. 3 piece necks can withstand the test of time. Where standard necks may show aging defects from temperature and moisture changes throughout the years, the 3 piece neck will stay nice and straight for a lifetime of playability.
