SIRE Larry Carlton A4 Parlor Acoustic-Electric Guitar Natural

The Sire Larry Carlton A4 Parlor acoustic-electric guitar is a thoughtfully upgraded evolution of the popular A3, offering a compact, performance-ready body with serious tonal depth and visual elegance. Inspired by Larry Carlton's signature approach to tone and feel, the A4 Parlor blends classic acoustic richness with modern enhancements. Its smaller body size makes it incredibly comfortable to play for long sessions—whether you're fingerpicking on the couch or miked up on stage. With premium tonewoods, a custom shop feel and upgraded Sire electronics, the A4 Parlor stands out as a stage-worthy instrument that doesn't compromise on sound, comfort or style.

Roasted Spruce and Mahogany for Rich, Balanced Tone

The A4 Parlor's tonal character starts with a roasted solid spruce top, which adds warmth, clarity and a slightly aged response right out of the box. Paired with mahogany sides and a solid mahogany back, it delivers a balanced and focused tone that emphasizes midrange nuance while keeping lows tight and highs articulate. The parlor-sized body enhances the instrument's intimate voice, making it a perfect companion for singer-songwriters, recording artists or anyone looking for a smaller-bodied guitar that still projects with authority and depth.

Ergonomic Mahogany Neck With Edgeless Comfort

Sire's signature Edgeless rolled fretboard edges make the A4 Parlor a joy to play. The C-shaped mahogany neck feels smooth and inviting, with excellent grip and just the right amount of thickness for both strumming and lead work. A rosewood fingerboard with a 16" radius provides an ideal playing surface, especially for fast chord transitions and delicate fingerstyle passages. The 25.5" scale length and dovetail neck joint add to the guitar's resonance and sustain while preserving excellent playability across all registers.

Sire SIB Electronics for Versatile Voicing Options

The A4 Parlor features the Sire SIB preamp system with both an undersaddle piezo and internal condenser microphone, letting you blend two voices for studio-grade amplified tone. Dial in the perfect mix of clarity and warmth with simple but responsive controls for master volume, tone and mic blend. Whether you're plugging in for a live performance or tracking in the studio, the SIB system faithfully translates the guitar's natural acoustic timbre while offering flexibility to match your style and venue.

Stage-Ready Sire Hardware With a Custom Shop Touch

Every element of the A4 Parlor is built with the performer in mind. The rosewood bridge and bone saddle enhance resonance and sustain, while the bone nut improves string stability and tonal consistency. Chrome-plated Sire acoustic die-cast tuners keep your tuning solid, even through extended sessions or travel. From the hardware to the finish and neck construction, this guitar is crafted to deliver a high-end experience that exceeds expectations at its price point.
