I have owned American fenders and Gibsons and I'm absolutely floored by this guitar. At the price point it cannot be beaten. It arrived at my door step perfectly setup down to the pickup height. The radius at the bridge was set perfectly and interestingly enough the pole pieces on the pickups match up with the radius of the fretboard. Very smooth fret ends which is uncommon even on guitars reaching the 700$ range. The only downside is the pickups but if you like the tone of ceramics they really aren't too bad. The MIM strats use ceramic pickups as well. I have no problem with the stock pickups but some may. The humbucker is kicking

Comments about Squier Bullet Strat with Tremolo HSS:

I played my first gig with it a week ago, tuned before the show, played a four hour club gig and did not have to tune all night. I have four more expensive guitars and this is my favorite, I love plying this guitar. Note, I did upgrade the humbucker to a seymour duncan custom custom.

Comments about Squier Bullet Strat with Tremolo HSS:

The Squier bullet is a great guitar for the money. The two tone burst finish had no flaws, frets were not sharp. Just needed to adjust the intonation and lower the string action a little. The humbucker bridge pickup sounds great. The pots and pickup selector work great and are quiet. Very little pickup hum from the single coils. This guitar was made in Indonesia, and the quality has improved over the years. I would use this guitar as an entry level guitar, or to record with, or as a reliable backup for a gig.

Comments about Squier Bullet Strat with Tremolo HSS:

I bought Squier Affinity's for years but I've found a home with the Bullet Strat. It has all the details I like in a guitar, namely the basswood body and a very decent humbucking tone. Neck is fast and slick as well and with the Stratocaster's cool looks you can't go wrong.

Comments about Squier Bullet Strat with Tremolo HSS:

Absolutely blown away buy this entry level guitar. I have been playing for 30 years and have played and owned many guitars and this is one of my favorites to play right now. The set up was perfect out of the box. I play through a Vox AC15VR and I have no complaints. I was expecting this to be just a beat around guitar but it is so much more than that. How they are producing a guitar so good for such little money is beyond me. Don't wait, just get one!

Comments about Squier Bullet Strat with Tremolo HSS:

I brought this guitar because I wanted the color and I had few expectations because of the price. The hardware is functional, but with some upgrades you can make it a decent performer. The tone pot for the bridge pickup might as well have not been installed. If you subscribe to the Eddie V doctrine that's OK. This guitar was never not going to be a project so all in all I was satisfied. One thing in particular that I like is the light weight. I have three American-made Fenders that are super, but sometimes the weight is an issue. This is a guitar that you feel you are controlling and not, sometimes, that is controlling you.

Comments about Squier Bullet Strat with Tremolo HSS:

Cheap guitars are so hit and miss. There are lemons, what you expect, and then there is the occasional diamond in the rough. Just a lucky build at the factory in China on a day when there was mojo in the machinery on the automated assembly line. Being a broke guitarist/recording artist for all of my adult life, I know about these things. They were learned. The. Hard. Way. Anyway, I happened upon one of these. I just had to raise the action a smidge to alleviate a bit o' fret buzz at the 15th on a David Gilmour -like step and a half bend. The only thing I don't like are the bridge humbucker and the cheap god-awful tuning machines. So, I'll drop in a duncan, wire it in series and stick some 18:1 Grovers on that pretty head stock and, voila! She will be a fire- breathing dragon and another feather in ol' Leo Fenders painter's cap.

Comments about Squier Bullet Strat with Tremolo HSS:

I've been a professional recording artist for 27 years, and this is by far the best cheap guitar I've ever purchased. And I have bought dozens of inexpensive guitars above but near this price point. None have ever surprised me more out of the box. The only complaint, albeit a set-up issue, is the action is a tad low. At the 14th fret, the B sring went dead on a full step bend. After a quick, simple adjustment, all was right again. Otherwise, it's a fine instrument. Especially for the C note I paid for it. Delivery was 4 days to Seattle.
