The Squier Contemporary Active Starcaster electric guitar is an evolution of the original Fender model, which broke the mold of semi-hollow guitar design when it was introduced in the ’70s with its offset body shape and versatile sounds. Offering out-of-this-world styling for the most adventurous players, the Contemporary Active Starcaster has been reengineered with a sealed semi-hollow body for minimized feedback, and is powered by dual Squier SQR active ceramic humbucking pickups for massive high-output signal. Its roasted maple neck was chosen for optimal tone and stability, and the sculpted heel design allows for improved access all the way to the 22nd fret.
