PSR s910 is a fantastic board.

Comments about Yamaha PSR-S910 61-Key Arranger Workstation:

I bought this keyboard to be my gigging board to replace another great board, the PSR 3000. (That board is still kicking after about six years of use, but I use it as my practice board.) I've had the s910 for almost 18 months now and have gigged with it about 80 times. It has worked flawlessly. Listeners are amazed at the realistic sounds and fantastic styles. People who have not heard an instrument like this can't believe all this sound is coming from one 61-key instrument. It truly makes be a "one-man-band."

Love it!

Comments about Yamaha PSR-S910 61-Key Arranger Workstation:

I consider this purchase a great investment.
I am not a professional musician, but with this key board I sound like it. It was not as difficult to learn the features as I thought it might be.
Sound quality is very realistic.
I bought this particular keyboard because a friend of mine has one and recorded a CD that sounded like it was made in a studio. When you consider what it costs to have a studio recording made, this is really a great value.

Simply amazing!

Comments about Yamaha PSR-S910 61-Key Arranger Workstation:

The designers of the Yamaha PSR-S910 have really hit a home run with this instrument. I am amazed at the tone quality and number of features that this keyboard offers. The acoustic and electric piano voices (as well as the large selection) are excellent. The ?Organ Flutes? provides you with a graphic representation of a set of drawbars that are fully adjustable as well as other features commonly found on traditional organs such as rotary speaker speed and vibrato. As an experiment I compared various drawbar settings between the Yamaha and my Hammond tonewheel organ, and the Yamaha did a very respectable job at replicating the Hammond sound. The large number of voices and features of the PSR-S910 may be a bit overwhelming at first, but it will get much easier as you spend time playing it. Best of all, it can make a simple tune sound like a million bucks with the auto accompaniment backing. To get a better idea of the capabilities of this keyboard, you may want to view some of the PSR-S900 and -S910 video clips available on YouTube (especially ones from the manufacturer due to better recording quality and talent)I would recommend purchasing a sustain pedal along with this keyboard as you will need it for more realistic piano playing.Bottom line, this keyboard is outstanding!

Out of this Planet - GREAT

By Big-Ole

Comments about Yamaha PSR-S910 61-Key Arranger Workstation:

I have owned many keyboards as well as full size digital pianos, and even had the clavinova 109 which then was the top of the line. This keyboard surpasses everything I have owned. The sounds are so very realistic and the rythems are a beat above all. I love all the music selections that you can play with and you don't even need to be a rocket scientist to understand how to use it and manuver around on it. This keyboard is definetly a home run out of the park on this. Yamaha has put together a great instrument at a very realistic price and Musicians friends can get it to you in a timely manner with no frieght cost to you. Much better here than what my local music store could even do. Thanks

Tried with return priviledge, thank goodness

By Summers

from Newport, AR

Comments about Yamaha PSR-S910 61-Key Arranger Workstation:

I couldn't believe how bad the keybed on this unit was. The touch response was terrible, even when adjusted as best possible. The keys were very cheap and flimsy feeling. Notes dropped off when using the sustain pedal. It was difficult to play white notes when also playing black notes when you moved your hands up on the whites notes(between the black ones), as you have to really push the white notes very hard to get them to play. I couldn't believe Yamaha would sell such a board, especially at the price rate quoted. Check it out before you buy.

Comments about Yamaha PSR-S910 61-Key Arranger Workstation:

I've used this keyboard for the last 5 years, and it been great from Day#1. I continue to be impressed by the sound quality, especially acoustic guitar - not so much the strings or piano although piano isn't bad. Good levels of accompaniment and variations, some super articulation voices all nice and decent rhythm section for a beginner. I intend to stay with Yamaha more for familiarity than anything else, and the great service from my local dealer. I'd prefer 76 keys but have not had any real issues with 61. The speakers and internal amp are pathetic so I play through a Yamaha Stagepas system at home which makes quite a difference. I am basically outgrowing this machine now, and moving on to Genos - I figure top of the line is the way to go at least on the home arrannger platform.
