The 8 ply, 100% mahogany shells are covered with a stunning, pure white finish and offer low weight and outstanding tone. Continuing with the construction, the 1-1/2", 6 ply, 100% maple hoops these drums feature provide excellent strength and durability. The hoops are glossed with a super tough black color that make this drum quite pleasing to look at. 6 acoustically located air vents allow quick air exit for unsurpassed playing response and projection. The drum is held together by its die-cast zinc tension lugs that are designed for years and years of heavy duty use.
