Comments about Behringer EUROPOWER PMP2000D 800-Watt 14-Channel Powered Mixer with Multi-FX Processor:

At my last gig, I had 2 wireless microphones (Channels 1 and 2) and Channel 3 I used as a 1/4 line in coming from my laptop. I used top "Main / Main" stereo connection and noticed that when the music was playing when I spoke in my mic, My music volume decreased when I spoke. I was not using a monitor so I am confident that bridging all of my power and "daisychaining" my 2 Pyle speakers would have solved this issue. Going to try again in an upcoming wedding gig and see if that solves my problem NO other issues... Using with my band, it did excellent... "Daisychaining" is best way to connect speakers and monitors every time. Quite different because in years past, musicians could have a left Main and Right Main and also a Monitor out. If this helps fellow musicians, this system is best in these ways..... 1. If you are using 2 mains and 3 monitors (3 monitors are ok as long as you don't run your monitors very loud, vocals and maybe kick drum and some instruments), use the Middle switch (Monitor A / Main B), then run cable out from the back of the unit with Speakon plugged there coming out of Channel "B" into left speaker at front of stage and then run cable from that Speaker to other Speaker on other side of stage. Connect Speakon cable to "A" and run to one monitor and then run cables from monitor to monitor (again no more than 3, 2 is best but in talking to other musicians 3 pulls 2.67 ohms so I don't think it would hurt it. That setup is perfect if your require a monitor.....(2.) If you don't require a monitor and it's strictly mains only, your best bet would be to push selector switch to bottom into Bridge mode. Again, only use ONE speakon cable connecting to "B" in the back of the unit running it to one of your MAIN speakers. That should be the only cable coming out of the back of your unit. To connect your other speaker, simply run a cable from your Main speaker on the Left Side of the stage, to your Main speaker on the right. That should do it!!!!
