100W compact studio subwoofer with adaptive crossover.

The Blue Sky SUB 8 Universal speaker adds true low frequency extension to your existing near-field monitors with a sealed box design for more "slam" and a bass response down to 30Hz and below. A single 8" high excursion woofer features a vented motor for low power compression, and is powered by a low-distortion 100W discrete symmetrical bipolar amplifier. The Blue Sky SUB 8 Universal features built-in 2.1 bass management, along with dual independently tunable state variable high-pass and low-pass filters (50Hz-160Hz) with 4th order slopes, which adjust the crossover point to ensure optimum system response.

The SUB 8 Universal studio speaker can be combined with Blue Sky's SAT 5 to form the highly acclaimed and award-winning ProDesk 2.1 Monitoring System.
