I used this device for 2 gigs or a total of about 9 hours. It worked great. It allowed me to store chase scenes and access them quickly. Learning how to operate it was quite a struggle. The manual is very brief. About 2 hours into the 3rd gig it quit working. The 7 segment display would light up a "1" and all of the controls locked out. I followed the factory warranty steps. They said they would need it for 5 days and then return it repaired to me. That would have been fine with me. The experience has not been good. I was told they were very busy and service was going to take quite a bit longer than anticipated. With out getting into the detils Chauvet has given me the get in line and wait attitude. I think The DMX-7 in general is OK but their service is POOR at best. I am looking for a different (non Chauvet) controler here today.
