The 828 makes DIY guitar re-amping easier than ever. Simply DI your guitar to the front-panel input, use the near-zero latency monitor mix to route to any output and simultaneously record both the dry signal and your mic'd up amp. Then later re-amp the dry signal using different amps or plugins to experiment with tone, without re-plugging cables. The 828 eliminates the hassle of re-amping workflows.
Connect All Your Studio Gear
With 28 inputs and 32 outputs available simultaneously, the 828 can handle all your studio gear. Connect everything from mics, guitars and keyboards to synths, drum machines, outboard FX and more. The two combo jacks provide transparent mic preamps with phantom power, pad and remote control. The eight balanced line inputs offer pristine audio quality to capture any sound source.
Mix With Precision
The built-in DSP-driven digital mixer provides precision mixing capabilities. Utilize the eight stereo busses, 4-band EQ, reverb, gate and compression on each of the 24 inputs right inside the 828. Control it all remotely from your computer or iOS device. Plus, every analog input and output has precision boost/trim down to 1dB increments for the ultimate fine-tuning capability.
Flexible Connectivity Options
In terms of connectivity, the 828 has it all. Easily connect to Mac, PC or iOS devices via high-speed USB 3. The two banks of optical I/O provide 16 channels of digital audio up to 96kHz. Balanced XLR outs and DC-coupled TRS outputs allow integrating the 828 into any studio setup. Even utilize the TRS outs to control modular synths with CV. The 828 is built to handle any connectivity need.
