Comments about Nady Dsm-1X Digital Spl Meter:
The last couple of gigs the club owners have asked us to turn down in the first set. This sent the band into the blame game and tempers flared. I bought the NADY DSM-1X SPL Meter and set everyone's amp (BASS, Guitar, Keyboards, and Drum Monitor) up for 100 dB @ 1M (106dB for leads), and I set the PA (vocals) up for 106dB at 1M. The club owner came up to us after the first break (not during the first set) and said the band's volume was perfect. The place was packed and customers could talk to each other because 15ft. away from the stage the level was about 85-90dB. Before the night was out, the club owner had booked us for two more gigs. Case closed. The NADY DSM-1X Digital SPL meter paid for itself in the first gig.
