Designed for the today’s working professional, this 4-piece Ludwig NeuSonic Mod 2 shell pack offers sonic versatility, an upgraded finish and lightweight portability. NeuSonic captures the legendary Ludwig vibe coupled with a sound that will complement a wide range of performance settings.

At the foundation is Ludwig’s proprietary 7-ply shell consisting of a 4-ply maple exterior with a 3-ply cherry interior. The cherry ply adds a warmth and playability to the familiar attack of maple while also adding extra “breath” to the drum’s overall tone. Handcrafted at Ludwig’s factory in Monroe, NC, USA, this shell is their thinnest, measuring a mere 5.5 mm thick for superior resonance and sustain. This also makes for their lightest shells—great for the gigging drummer.
