Poor Condition

The Takamine G Series of acoustic guitars, basses and ukuleles represents a wider range of body styles, colors and variations than any other line offered by the company, as well as the most bang for your buck. Exceptionally high-quality instruments, they are built to Takamine specifications by experienced luthiers in Takamine-dedicated shops around the world, using high-quality tonewoods, hardware and Takamine-designed electronics, resulting in an incredible array of pro-level axes at incredibly affordable prices. The G Series instruments run the gamut from acoustic basses and jumbo acoustic guitars to smaller, parlor-style guitars and soprano, concert and tenor size ukuleles, available with a wide variety of finishes, tonewood combinations, with or without cutaways, and in lefty or right-handed configurations to suit any playing style or aesthetic preference. For instance, the G-Series Quilt Maple Acoustic-Electric Bass is a stage-ready, pro-level tone monster, with solid spruce top, quilted maple back and sides, TK4NB preamp to dial in the ideal tone, and abalone rosette and binding accents to play off those stage lights. If you're looking for a more traditional acoustic guitar, check out the EG360SC, in the familiar Dreadnought body style with cutaway for enhanced upper fret access, solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and the TP4T preamp with 3-band graphic EQ and built-in tuner, so it sounds great whether it's plugged in or not. Or check out the EG451 Deluxe NEX, an auditorium-style guitar, with a down-sized jumbo shape for incredible bass response, while still retaining punchy highs and mids, with a very comfortable body size. For smaller hands or rambling troubadours, Takamine offers the G Series Mini acoustic guitar, a travel-sized powerhouse with solid cedar top and mahogany back and sides, for plenty of full, rich tone in an easy-to-carry package. Or check out the EG630S New Yorker, a vintage-style steel string with slotted headstock and smaller body size, based on the classic designs made famous by fingerstyle, blues and country pickers from the early 20th century. This antique-inspired yet up-to-date beauty boasts a solid red cedar soundboard, with flame mahogany back and sides, gold appointments, abalone inlays, and the TP4T preamp, so it sounds as classy as it looks! Speaking of which, classical players will want to check out the G Series G128S Classical Guitar, an eminently affordable, traditional Spanish-style nylon string guitar, featuring a solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and a touch of understated elegance with a classic rosette and gold and pearl tuners; or the EG124C Cutaway classical guitar, with enhanced upper-fret access and the TP4T preamp for outstanding amplified tone. With over 50 years of guitar-making expertise behind every instrument, and endorsed by major players like Bruce Springsteen, Jerry Cantrell, John Scofield, John Jorgensen, India.Arie, Garth Brooks and Kenny Chesney, Takamine has you covered. What began in 1962 in a modest instrument-making shop at the base of Takamine Mountain in Sakashita, Japan, has grown to become one of the most respected guitar makers on the planet. Check out the Takamine G Series today and learn why!
